If your country is not yet apart of SPARE and your NGO is interested in promoting energy education, please, contact the international coordinators of SPARE.
If your country is already involved in SPARE, and your NGO would like to take part, you can work for distributing SPARE in various regions of your country, and managing SPARE on the local level. Your organisation could participate in creating SPARE network on the level with other NGOs, schools, educational departments, local authorities and businesses. Please, contact national coordinator in order to see SPARE-materials and talk about interaction.
Educational organizations - Ministries, comities, educational departments can use energy efficiency theme as an example of "education for sustainable development". SPARE is the innovative educational form and project activity as a modern and effective method of education.
SPARE-materials can be useful for including the course "Energy saving" into the programs of retraining teachers of natural sciences. In cooperation with NGOs the course of seminars and trainings for teachers within SPARE-program can be organised as the examples of practically-oriented form environmental education.
Local authorities, scientists, representatives of business can also be included into the SPARE-program. Together with national coordinator, local NGOs and schools you can discuss, how people can apply energy saving measures at schools, houses and flats. Using mutual efforts we can form awareness and behaviour not only of schoolchildren but also their parents, neighbours, other citizens concerning energy saving. Together we can bring sufficient contribution to sustainable development.
